Discover more about our Nutrix: Nurse Alert

  • A tamper-proof fall alarm

Some patients may consider that they do not need monitoring, despite it being in their best interests. The consequences of a patient disabling their fall alarm can be serious or even fatal.

    Remote control

The Nurse Alert is ideal for patients with a history of switching their alarm off, as the ability to arm, disarm and reset the alarm has been removed from the local unit. These functions are instead controlled by a remote fob that can be kept by the carer.

    Caring for our carers

Whether you are a full time carer for a friend or relative or a professional nurse, the pressure of looking after someone can be exhausting and overwhelming. All of our alarms offer some respite to caregivers, reducing the need for 24/7 supervision by providing reliable, assisted monitoring.

  • Simple Operation

    Select mode
As well as a magnetic pull cord, the Nurse Alert can be set to detect when a patient applies pressure or removes pressure from a sensor mat. This allows the carer to cater for a wide variety of care situations.

    Position sensor mat
Sensor mats should be placed directly below the patient when used in pressure-off mode or immediately in front of the patient in pressure-on mode. Bed mats should be placed across the bed.

    Arm the unit
Once correctly set-up, the unit can be armed or reset using the remote fob. It is also possible to connect the unit to a nurse call system and silence the alarm for discrete monitoring.
