A Breath of Fresh Air: The Lifemax Professional Humidifier Product Review
I’ve recently been trying out the Lifemax Professional Humidifier, and I have to say, I’ve been genuinely impressed. It’s one of those products I wasn’t sure how much I would use before trying it, but it has quickly become a firm favourite.
What is a humidifier and what does it do?
If you’ve never used a humidifier before, you might be wondering what they actually do.
Put simply, a humidifier adds moisture to the air. When the air becomes dry, whether from heating, warm weather or indoor conditions, it can leave your skin feeling dry and your nose and airways uncomfortable. Adding moisture can help create a more comfortable environment.
The Lifemax Professional Humidifier can be used throughout the home or workplace — in the bedroom, living room, study or office. It has a high-velocity output, pushing moisture high into the air for enhanced coverage, with an output of 180ml per hour.
It also has a generous 2.6-litre water tank, up to 14 hours of running time on full power, a simple rotary control and an automatic shut-off feature.

Putting it to the test during the UK heatwave
The timing of my test couldn’t have been better — or perhaps worse!
I tested the humidifier during the UK heatwave when temperatures reached around 37°C. My bedroom was incredibly hot and the air felt heavy.
Of course, it wasn’t going to magically lower the temperature, but it made such a difference to how the room felt. The air seemed fresher, lighter and much more comfortable, which was particularly welcome overnight when I was trying to sleep in the heat.
I also noticed that my skin felt more comfortable and hydrated, while the moisture in the air helped soothe my dry airways.
I can struggle with a blocked nose and sinus discomfort due to hay fever, particularly during the summer months, and I found the humidifier really soothing. I felt more comfortable breathing and enjoyed waking up feeling less dried out.
A little relaxation at bedtime
One of my favourite features is the aromatherapy drawer, where you can add your favourite essential oil. I loved being able to introduce a gentle fragrance into the room, creating a lovely calming atmosphere at bedtime.
The humidifier is also wonderfully quiet. I barely noticed it running, and I actually found the gentle sound of the mist being released really relaxing. It gave me a little bit of a spa vibe, which made it even nicer to have running in the evening.

Easy to use
The 2.6-litre removable water tank is easy to fill, with a large opening and release valve to help prevent splashes and spills.
The only slight issue I found was filling it in my en-suite bathroom, as my sink is quite shallow and the tank was a little awkward to position under the tap. I simply took it to the kitchen sink instead, where it was much easier to fill.
Once filled, the long running time meant I could leave it running overnight without needing to refill it.
My verdict
I have to say, I absolutely loved using the Lifemax Professional Humidifier. During the heatwave, it made such a difference to my bedroom, helping the air feel lighter, fresher and cleaner when temperatures reached around 37°C.
I also found having it running incredibly relaxing. The gentle mist and quiet operation created a really calming atmosphere, making my bedroom feel like a much more comfortable place to unwind and sleep.
It’s a simple, practical product that made a noticeable difference to my comfort, and I can definitely see myself continuing to use it.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely!
